My wife and I recently purchased an older home with the vision of turning it into something special for our family to enjoy for many years to come.
To achieve the vision we had for the house it meant removing the center load bearing wall separating our living room, dining room and kitchen area. This wall was essentially supporting the entire interior roof. It would also entail adding framing for a mud room wall and pocket door along with framing for pocket doors in the master bedroom bathroom and closet. Deleting a coat closet and combining it with the guest bedroom closet. Quite a daunting task, so we thought.
We were referred to the Load Bearing Wall Pros from some friends who said they can absolutely deliver on the dreams we had for our project.
After seeing the finished project and working with Jordan and Kate and the witnessing the magicians of Mario’s crew, I can honestly say they delivered on every promise and did so in the most professional, efficient, and mind blowing way.
I can’t imagine working with any other contractor in future for the scale of these types of renovations.
The entire experience was first class and I will be referring the Load Bearing Wall Pros to any and all that have a vision but don’t know who to trust to achieve it.

This was an incredible process to watch! The Load Bearing Wall Pros team did a great job with our project. Everything was carefully covered so that our home was protected. Jose and his team looked like they really enjoyed what they did. They were very accommodating and patient with us. They even did a great job working around some surprise plumbing! The Load Bearing Walls guys came out as soon as I called and explained the process and gave me an estimate. We called and booked an appointment about 4 weeks out. They were here right on time. Everything went as explained. All areas outside the work area were draped or taped off with drop cloths. They were here 6-7 hours and the work was complete.

I want to preface this post by saying I have had very unfortunate experiences in the past with contractors. These experiences have taught me to avoid them at all costs and learn to do the project myself, unless there is work I genuinely feel I need a professional for, like removing a load bearing wall.
I was thoroughly impressed by the work Load Bearing Wall Pros performed in my home several years ago, and apologize for not reviewing sooner. They were on time, completed the work on schedule, cleaned up throughly after themselves, and management was on site through the duration of the work.

I had a great time working with Team Mario at Load Bearing Wall Pros. Working with them was great at almost every step. The process is pretty easy. You fill out what you need on their website and they send you a text asking you to upload pictures. Then they give you a quote. I thought the quote was reasonable so they came out and took measurements and such. I got my final proposal and called the office to schedule a the wall to come down. I had to pay 25% up front, the rest is due day of service after work is complete. They happened to have an opening a week later so here we are. I made some changes to my request so Mario came back to make sure we’re on the same page. Good thing he did because we were talking about different things. We were able to get that settled.
The work day came and Mario met me to go over the the plan. He kept me updated at every point. The crew covered everything with plastic to keep the dust down.They even taped the cabinet doors shut. There was some bad news because there was unexpected plumbing we found. Mario let me know before we were committed and gave me options. It was overall the a great experience and I am very happy with the results. My only complaint is they’re so busy it’s hard to schedule the initial visit. Great job guys!

The company removed two small walls and added beams, but left the job without Installing required beam support. Upon request they came back, but did not have required lengths and proceeded to sister board’s. When this was not allowed, they left and did not return. A contractor we were using on another job agreed to install the supports so other trades could complete their work. Further, the lead on this job was disrespectful and did not ensure the job was completed safely and completely. The company was required to haul off all debris, but instead left removed molding with exposed nails, not knocked back for safety, in a walkway. The communication between this team of brothers is limited, lead workers do not have required notes agreed to on the contract before the project begins. I have supervised many wall removals, this was my first experience with this company and my last. Their disregard for safety is of big concern.

We hired Load Bearing Wall pros to remove a small wall between the kitchen and family room. They scheduled it immediately upon deposit payment, showed up as scheduled the day of the work, blocked off areas close to the job site, got to work instantly and stayed the course finishing the job with superb detail. Not a piece of trash left behind. This was by far one of the best crews and company to do remodel/reconstruction work for us. Very happy and highly recommended!

When the large team of people arrived at my home, Mario, the foreman, introduced himself and said he was going to try to minimize ceiling repair by cutting a small hole in the ceiling and putting the steel beam up from underneath. They proceeded to work & we were confused to see they were not using jacks to support the ceiling while they installed the beam (as I was told they were going to do by the person who gave me the estimate ). When I asked about it, I discovered the foreman was the only English-speaking member of the crew and he was in the attic. He poked his head down to answer that he was trying to minimize repair. That didn’t ease my mind as to why they were not supporting the ceiling while they were putting in the steel beam. Later when they were done I asked to speak to the foreman to go over what was done and found out he left & never told us. This was extremely unprofessional. Eventually another person showed who spoke English & we went over what was done. I was confused as to why they did the job the way they did & have to rely on their guarantee & experience to assume it was done properly. It was a bit of a frustrating experience & very expensive, but the result is very nice. I want to say that the crew was pleasant & wanted to help, but the communication barrier made it a bit difficult. The fact that the foreman left without telling us was by far the most frustrating part.

I was very anxious about them removing a load bearing wall in my house. They showed up on-time, every person on the crew kept busy. If they weren’t removing sheetrock, they were sweeping and picking up trash. They removed the column, replaced a beam, and left my house clean and earlier than expected.

Load Bearing Wall Pros was good at their craft. They arrived as a team and worked diligently together. Mario texted to let me know what time they’d arrive. We discussed the work and they got right to it. They finished quicker than I would have thought. We give them 3 out of 5 stars simply because of some of the damages they caused, which the biggest being the damage to the outside siding of the house. Discussed this with Mario and they take no responsibility for the damages they cause while working and say it’s part of the process. I understand they only do the load bearing wall work and we must get the other work completed elsewhere, but do not agree with them walking on damages they create. They could have slowed down before causing the siding damage to prevent it, instead of slowing down after. Expect more from a specialist company to know these things when this is all they do. Would still recommend them and would use them again for this type of work. Overall their process is good and they do a good job and offer a good service with engineering to complete.

This is not your typical review. It isn’t often that you will see a 5 star rating for a company who damaged your property…
We hired Load Bearing Walls to install a 20 foot steel beam in our ceiling so that we could eliminate the wall between our kitchen and living room. Everything from scheduling to installation was flawless. However, a few days after the job was completed, we noticed staining in our pool near the area where they were cutting the beam to size. It was later determined to be rust from the beam’s metal shavings that caused the stains. After discussions about this issue with the executive team at Load Bearing Walls, they offered to resurface our entire pool so that we would be completely satisfied in the end.
We give them a 5 star rating for the exceptional work they did installing the beam but they deserve a 5+ star rating for how they responded to this situation.
We greatly appreciate the quality work of the entire LBW team and highly recommend them to anyone.

I have wanted to change my kitchen for almost the entire twenty years we have lived in my house. Load Bearing Wall Pros made it happen!! They are fabulous to work with from start to finish. 25’ wall removed between living and kitchen. They were on-time and quick! Noticed that some of the supports weren’t flush after they had already left (which would have messed with the drywall being added flushly). Called to have them come fix and they were back within the hour and were extremely apologetic. Fixed the mistake and we were good to go! This wall being removed made a world of difference.

We had a great experience with Load Bearing Wall Pros. We contacted Load Bearing Wall Pros about removing a three-foot-wide section of wall separating our kitchen table area from our living room at our home in Allen. We wanted a more “open-concept” living area downstairs, rather than the existing multiple-room, closed-concept atmosphere. Our biggest concern was that this might be a load bearing wall, and we could not verify this ourselves. Several weeks ago, a representative of Load Bearing Wall Pros visited our home and, using their detection equipment, was able to verify that it was indeed load-bearing, but encouraged us that they handle operations like this all the time. They were very honest about what they could and couldn’t do, and even about what they didn’t think we needed to do. So, we scheduled the work for about a month later.
This morning the crew arrived ahead of schedule, but had the courtesy to wait until the scheduled time to knock on our door (given the early hour). The crew leaders (José and José) were very polite and professional, and the crew were equally so. The went straight to work at 8:30 am, had the work area sectioned off with plastic sheeting, and our floors covered with heavy blankets to prevent scratching. They worked very efficiently, and had the job completed by noon. The crew obviously knew what they were doing, and were able to work around unforeseen plumbing and gas pipes they encountered once the drywall had been removed. They did everything they could to keep our home very clean, despite the very messy business of taking down walls, and they cleaned up after themselves very thoroughly. We are very satisfied with the results, and look forward to seeing the final product once our other contractor replaces the drywall and we have everything painted.
Overall, we found Load Bearing Wall Pros to be congenial, professional, and a real pleasure to work with. We would highly recommend them to anyone with similar needs.

The whole process went very smoothly from the beginning. Emailed for an estimate and then Jason came out to see the scope of the project. We needed to remove two wood porch posts that were screwed onto the aggregate porch deck. And needed to replace them with carbon steel posts. The whole process was smooth and easy. We had an initial consult with the owner, then a check with an engineer, and in one day they came in and removed two walls. Clean up was great, there was no dust/mess and I really appreciated that!

Our patio had a middle column blocking the views and making it hard to put a seating area. Load Bearing Wall Pros put in a beam to remove the column. They are super professional, responding to emails and texts quickly, with a great office staff as well. I didn’t want just any guy doing demo since this is a structural issue. They have a great system down for getting a ballpark estimate from pictures, then a firm bid after a visit. They really know what they’re talking about. Very satisfied!

We chose Load Bearing Wall Pros on the recommendation of a friend and they did not disappoint. The estimate/quote/engineer process went smoothly, then, on the day of the installation of the beam, Jose and his crew were very professional and efficient. They did a great job of preparing the space to keep our hardwood floors safe and to keep things as clean as possible. Jose was also great at answering questions and explaining things throughout the process. They cleaned up well and now our home is ready for the next phase!

The experience from the start to finish was very professional. The foreman and the rest of the crew very very respectful and asked plenty of questions. The even went to the length of mid job making on the fly adjustments to make sure we were happy customers. Would recommend for any project no matter how small or large. They removed a good chunk of wall and were in and out in a day.

Working with Load Bearing Wall Pros was a breeze! From the initial “guesstimate” through text to the on-site visit for an actual estimate to the day of the job. They were friendly, accommodating, and professional. Since they were putting in a support beam to support a wall that was previously taken down (improperly), I was very apprehensive about everything. I had already paid for this wall once before and trusted the contractor when he said he knew what he was doing. Almost 5 years later and my ceiling was sagging and had cracks from the weight🙈. Needless to say, I wanted it done right this time and had LOTS of questions😁. Everyone I came in contact with what extremely patient and willing to answer all of my questions and ease my concerns. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with the process! I love the fact that a structural engineer signed off on the work that was done. At first I wasn’t sure how I felt about having to find a different company to do the dry wall, texture, and paint afterwards. I wanted a one stop shop. But, after looking into LBWP a little more, I was actually pleased to know ALL they do is the structure/support part of the job. That is their expertise. They are pros at this part of the job and that is what I wanted this time, pros. Mario was so great to work with on the day of. He didn’t mind me watching and recording the entire process. He talked to me throughout the day and answered all my questions with confidence. I appreciated that he acknowledged that this is my home and wanted me to feel comfortable with every step of the process. It was really a pleasure to work with everyone involved! I will recommend them to anyone I know that needs any work done with their load bearing walls!!👏🏼

What can I say… I almost went the cheaper route and hired a cheap contractor off of Facebook marketplace but realized how important it is to keep the frame of our house in perfect condition. Load Bearing Wall Pros were fast, responsible and very transparent throughout the whole process. As promised they crew came in at 9am and completed the job by 1pm. Our house now looks a thousand times better!

Load Bearing Wall Pros is AWESOME. From the initial consultation to a very explanatory quote. My wife and I felt their quote was very reasonable for the amount of work they were going to perform. They provided a great document of their insurance and what to expect when they arrive on site. They installed multiple beams and provided our home a brand new look in the kitchen and dining. They put down movers blankets to ensure they protected our hardwood floors. They worked very fast but very safe and clean. I would recommend Load Bearing Wall Pros to anyone.

I can only echo what other reviews say. They are top notch. Our original appointment was supposed to be during the winter storm we had in Feb 2021. Roads were closed, and I chose to reschedule to a later date. I was VERY pleased that they kept on top of finding a new date. I never had to bug them, if they say they will call back they do!
When they say “we take dust very seriously” they mean it. They taped up the whole area with plastic, covered the floor with mats to help with debris and wear. When they left the job site was super clean. This was important since we are living in the space being remodeled. Our ceiling was bowing down due to an addition done 40+ years ago by previous owners who took out the back of the house to add another room. Several handy men tried to talk me out of the expense of using this company but I was determined because a friend who flips houses told me to use them. I am so glad that I did use them! the beam was sagging 2.75″ off plum and there was a crack in the 2×6 beam that was trying to hold everything up. If you want a company that does things correctly, is respectful and helpful and actually calls you back promptly this is the one you want!

I am extremely pleased with Load Bearing Wall Pros. They showed up promptly at 8:30am as promised. Every member of their team was courteous to my family and genuinely seemed happy to be there – great attitudes by each one of the guys.
We installed 4 beams – 2 large steel beams and two smaller wood beams to remove three columns in our kitchen and family room. The guys did a great job protecting our floor, light fixtures and furniture. They cleaned up throughout the day and taped off upstairs balconies to prevent dust from migrating outside the construction area.
The estimating process was very quick. After we emailed photos and received a rough order of magnitude, we called Jared out for a detailed estimate to better understand the scope of work. He was there within a few days and construction started 3 weeks later. They originally estimated 4-6 weeks but found an open day where they could fit us in.
The end result was nothing short of awesome. We had large bulky columns and arches throughout that really dated the space. Now with open sight lines and plenty of seating room at the kitchen island, it feels like a new space all together.
I would highly recommend Load Bearing Wall Pros. Other estimates I received were 3 times what we paid for this work. The photos tell it all…

We had a 24-ft wall between our kitchen and living room that I wanted to open up. I wasn’t even sure if it would be possible without some type of support.
I had several contractors bid on it. One said they couldn’t do it and if they did, it wouldn’t be worth the expense. The others were saying that it would cost 5 figures and take several days.

Wow! If you are looking for a contractor to install a beam for a load bearing wall, then this is a great company to work with. As part of a kitchen remodel project for our home, my husband and I were working to open up our kitchen layout and looking for quotes to install a load bearing beam.
Jared came out to our home to provide an estimate of the work, and determined that a beam was not necessary. The wall was not load bearing. I confirmed with our engineer despite his original drawing indicated it was load bearing. After making the determination, Jared provided information and tips on the work that needed to take place moving forward. This company is reliable, honest, and dependable. Load Bearing Wall Pros are definitely pros! The trash trailer arrived the day before. The crew lead arrived around 8:10am. The whole crew was assembled and ready to go at 8:30am. Everyone had a job and they were all working the entire time. The cleaned up as they went along, had fans going to help with the dust in the air. Mario (lead) explained things as they went along and was very patient with our questions. We had this done to remove a column in the kitchen and are thankful for the expertise because Mario pointed out that our ceiling/second floor was sagging quite a bit. I am happy to recommend Load Bearing Wall Pros. Everyone from the estimator through the office to the work crew have been very professional and responsive.

Satisfied customer here. We used their service to open up the kitchen. Jason, Jordan and their team are excellent folks to work with. The quote process was straight forward. They explain options and work with you on what you want to accomplish. I was enroute when the work began, had questions that were promptly answered. Mario and his team came over on the day and completed the work by end of the day and cleaned up the place as well as they could. The wrinkle was that the job left the place dusty because per Mario the motor of their only vaccum stopped working early in the demolition process and they didn’t have a back up. So there’s quite some suspended dust. Other than that, great experience and highly recommended!

This was the best experience with a contracted team I’ve ever had. The ballpark bid process was super easy- all done through text and email. Then we had a verification visit to confirm and finalize the bid, which was a quick and easy visit. I got the job on the calendar and was pleasantly surprised they only needed a 4-hour window for our single-beam installation in our kitchen. Day of, Mario showed up 15 mins early to go over the project with me. The rest of his team (6 or 7 guys) showed up right on time and jumped into action. They did a fantastic job of putting up plastic sheeting to reduce dust and tried their best to minimize any damage to our home. Some damage was inevitable, like scrapings on the ceiling and a couple floor dents from the temporary walls, but nothing we can’t deal with or fix. 2 hours later (not 4 hours, like I was anticipating), the crew was cleaning up. They were completely done and out 2.25 hours after getting started. A whole load-bearing wall that was previously dangerously ripped out by a prior-hired fraudulent contractor was fixed by Mario and his guys (.75″ sag adjusted in the process) and the new glulam beam installed. Afterwards, a piece of one of the temporary walls was left behind and I asked Mario to come back to remove it. He had one of his guys out first thing the next day to remove it and he was very apologetic about leaving the piece behind. Great experience, will definitely use again if needed, highly recommend.

I am impressed with the quality, speed and overall work of the Load Bearing Wall Pros! They came in at 8:30am sharp and were done with removing load bearing wall, putting the beam up, completely removing my kitchen cabinets, countertops and appliances by 3pm. Very impressive! On top of all that they have left the house clean and with no dust what so ever! I would definitely recommend them to any of my friends/family members! Great job guys!

Load Bearing Wall Pros were quick and efficient. They were in and out of my house in less than 8 hours and replaced 3 load bearing walls with LVL beams in the attic. Working with th crew was easy, and the job got moved up 3 weeks in the schedule when they had an opening. From consultation to finished work it was less than 2 weeks. As the home-owner, acting as my own General Contractor, it’s great to have a company like Load Bearing Wall Pros to work with me. We’re doing a significant remodel of our 2-story home, to open up our kitchen floorplan. They put in 3 metal beams and a wooden header, which not only allowed us to remove the walls we needed, but also “righted some wrongs” in our load structure that had caused an upstairs floor to sag. Jared at LBWP was very informative and patient with all my questions and concerns. He also spoke directly with the structural engineer that I had hired. They worked out some details, and even made some fairly significant changes to the plan the day before, but did not delay the job schedule! The process was awesome to watch, and they were in and out the same day. I highly recommend Load Bearing Wall Pros.

This company was professional in every way. During the initial visit they said I needed an additional beam because the existing beam had sagged to much. I was skeptical and initially thought this was an “increase the bid” ploy. After they tore out the sheet rock, I was surprised that the existing beam hadn’t already failed in a big way. They installed 5 beams in one day and cleaned up afterwards. It was a long day, but I can’t recommend their service any more highly.

WOW these guys are GOOD! If you have ever been through a remodel or have a clue about construction, these guys go far and beyond with cleanliness and time management. Swept up everyday and completed the work in the time they scheduled. Contractors do not have xray vision therefore they can not see inside the walls, with that being said there is no telling what obstacles they will run in to. But they figure it out step by step and do amazing work. Not to mention the customer professionalism of each employee.

Great experience! We had been planning a kitchen remodel, including the removal of a load bearing wall for over a year. We contacted a number of different contractors but felt that we really should use a pro at something so critical to the structure of our home. We went with Load Bearing Wall Pros and they did an outstanding job. What I wasn’t expecting was the high quality of their service. They arrived on time. Their equipment is clean with a professional appearance. Their work crew, lead by Victor, was polite AND they cleaned-up after every step of the process. We are thrilled with the result, happy to know that we picked a good company and pleased to know that we have a long warranty on their work.

I had a wonderful experience with The Hulcy brothers that run Load Bearing Wall Pros. They just completed a job this week for me. They came to the house, confirmed my suspicion that an inner wall was load bearing (I inspected the attic space myself and concluded it was, but had to be sure).
Their quotation system was faster than my situation allowed, so it took a couple of months for me to get in position to have the work done. I scheduled it over the phone, paid a deposit and they confirmed they would be on the jobsite just before the work was scheduled to start.
The structural work took one day. The drywall, electrical and finish work understandably took two more days.
I had other work in progress in my home, so LBWP shared space with a tile contractor. The two teams were polite to one another, respectful of one another’s space needs and timing. They communicated well so we didn’t have timing conflicts for either contractor.
Every member of the team displayed the skill I expect when I hire trades for the work I do professionally as well as in my home.
I highly recommend LBWP – they did what they said they would do, were able to optimize the work and save a little $ once they got everything removed and could see what the full requirements were. They were punctual, kept the jobsite tidy, respected the fact they were working in an occupied home and were just nice guys to be around. The finished work meet my expectations fully.

I was very impressed with the quality in workmanship and the speed in which LBWP were able to transform the floorplan in my home. They removed one wall and installed two header beams in just one day. LBWP also managed the drywall repair of the affected walls and I could not be any happier with the quality of workmanship.

I can’t thank these guys enough. Jared and his team just completed our project yesterday. They made the trip all the way from Plano to South Austin. They’re team showed up on time, and they were awesome to work with during the whole project. Very friendly, very thorough, and QUICK! Project was completed in one day, as promised. Jared made sure all of my questions, and concerns were addressed, and he educated me on a lot of the engineering calculations that went into what beams they used and their load tolerances. Seriously, these guys are awesome. I’m glad I worked with them, and didn’t try to manage working with a separate engineering company and find my own framers. Incredible company! These guys are fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone. As a Realtor – I see a lot of houses in the North Dallas and Plano areas that have the classic 1960’s/1970’s ranch layout and need to be opened-up between the Kitchen and the Living room. These guys are the best!
I had to smaller walls removed by The Load Bearing Wall Pros. Their bid ended up being higher then the final cost. They did a great job of coming in, assessing the work, making corrections, and staying late to ensure the job was done correctly. They also had no problem with me looking over their work and answering any questions I had. I can not say enough about how great it was to get to know these guys. I would recommend these guys to anyone!

The load bearing wall pros took the load off of us!
These guys and their team are so easy to work with and do a phenomenal job. Bidding with Jason was simple and fast and MUCH lower than the bid we received from our usual contractor. Jared, Jonathan and their teams showed up on time, worked their butts off and respected our home and items. They were so careful to cover all our furniture and cabinets then did a great job cleaning up afterwards. If you’re looking for a wall to come down I’d recommend these guys any day.

I was referred by another contractor while cold calling for bids to Jared and Jason because all I wanted to do was knock down some walls and open up my floor plan. I didn’t want to take out a second mortgage to “renovate” I just wanted to escape the maze that was my floor plan. I had called approximately 12 contractors I found before being referred, and Jason was the first person I spoke with who discussed the project and gave me a quote on the first call.
The biggest hurdle I was facing in any of this was navigating it from Florida before I actually moved. I Fedexed my keys to Jason and he was able to measure and discuss with me by phone to get me scheduled before my move. I couldn’t be more thrilled to know that I’m moving into an open floor plan.
I opened 2 load bearing walls and one non-load bearing wall, 2 steel beams & 1 LVL. Pier & beam foundation? They’ll reinforce anything necessary to keep make it work. Worried about dust and headache of demolition? Massive vacuums clean the air during the demolition, no one coughing, no dust in the air. I’ve never been around a happier group of guys at the end of a 15 hour day.
This is an operation with surgical precision from start to finish. If you watch very closely, nothing they do is random or unintentional. It may look like that as things happen so fast, but everyone has a job, they know their job, and they do their job correctly.
I sure have never knocked down multiple walls before, but they have, and they knew to recommend in advance an entire network of other specialists to help with things that pop up. Oh, that random pipe in the wall you weren’t expecting because it is literally no where near anything with water? They’ve got a master plumber for that. Oh that barely legal ancient sub-panel needs to be relocated to the main panel so you can have a reasonable sight lines and not be terrified of a spontaneous fire? An electrician to preview the job the night before with enough notice so you can tear that sucker down without fret. Maybe you think of something the next day that you didn’t know you’d want? Jared and Jason will help coordinate referrals for the entirety of the project. Don’t get me wrong, they are only doing what they need to do to knock down the walls for you, but they are VERY aware that the project likely does not stop there and you will need other help. These folks have been an extension of the company that referred them, and while there are still a few projects to do, I have been very impressed by the responsiveness and professionalism they’ve displayed.
You could have your neighbor’s friend or handyman take a whack at this project if you’d like and maybe save some money. (My neighbor suggested it the day before my project was set to begin but I never seriously considered it). But how confident are you that people could be on your roof the next day without it collapsing? Nevermind making custom beams on site. I can’t imagine a group of people measuring things more thoroughly and in so many ways. Cleanup was exceptionally thorough and the only way you’ll notice they were there is that your walls are gone and your dream floor plan is complete.
I can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you for all your help turning my HGTV dreams into a reality with my new home in Dallas.

The men from Load bearing walls took 2 huge posts and a kitchen island out of my home yesterday….All went exactly as described, they showed up on time….they used plastic and blankets to protect the floor and parts of house away from kitchen and did the job exactly as described. Everything was completed within one day as promised. I would definately recommend the service they provide….

Had the crew out yesterday to remove a wall/bar. Can’t say enough good things about the process from start to finish. The prep to the area to minimize dust/debris was impressive!! The crew worked quickly and efficiently, and by the end of the day, the job was done. Cleanup was done quickly, and they even moved furniture back for us before heading out. We enjoyed working with Load Bearing Wall Pros and wholeheartedly recommend their craftmanship!!!

Great group of guys right here. They know how to get in, get a job done effectively and efficiently while keeping your house clean and making suggestions of how to do the little things you didn’t think of before the job got started.
These guys went above and beyond by tearing out and hauling off more debris than they do for a normal job. They keep the bones of the electrical and plumbing work intact to make it easy for me to begin my remodel.
I will definitely use these guys again if I have another project I want to tackle.

I highly recommend Load Bearing Wall Pros. They did everything they said they would exactly as they explained and went over in their helpful “What to Expect” YouTube videos. I was extremely impressed with their crew, ever single employee knew the role they were to perform during each stage of the project. When they arrived they covered our floors with moving blankets and made a hallway out of plastic from our front door to the work area protecting all other areas of our house from dust. I was blown away with how quickly they were able to remove the existing wall and then install the new iron beam. Once they were completed with the work they quickly cleaned up the interior and exterior of the house and left it exactly how they found it except for the wall being gone! Just had a 27′ steel beam installed to open my kitchen and living room. Removing 2 load bearing walls in the process. The beam weighed almost 1000 lbs and it took 8 dudes to hoist it up. Plus they completed the process in about 5 hours. They took great care to protect areas from dust and cleaned up nicely when done. It was clear he had gone to the wrong house. When I let him know and asked if he could turn around and come back this afternoon, he told he couldn’t come back until next week. Wow!
Frustrated, I let him him know we were in a time crunch bc our home is pending sale. I had let Jordan and the team know about our situation. Jason said verbatim:

I apologize for my mistake of knocking on the wrong door, but you don’t soundly like someone we want to work with. Good luck on your project.”
Wow! I’ve never been treated like this! Horrific customer service. I’m so grateful there are other wonderful structural remediation companies in town that have interpersonal skills. I’m in marketing for a living and when the mistake is on you – you fix it. Period!

Working with Load Bearing Wall Pros was a breeze! From the initial “guesstimate” through text to the on-site visit for an actual estimate to the day of the job. They were friendly, accommodating, and professional. Since they were putting in a support beam to support a wall that was previously taken down (improperly), I was very apprehensive about everything. I had already paid for this wall once before and trusted the contractor when he said he knew what he was doing. Almost 5 years later and my ceiling was sagging and had cracks from the weight. Needless to say, I wanted it done right this time and had LOTS of questions. Everyone I came in contact with was extremely patient and willing to answer all of my questions and ease my concerns. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with the process! I love the fact that a structural engineer signed off on the work that was done. At first I wasn’t sure how I felt about having to find a different company to do the dry wall, texture, and paint afterwards. I wanted a one stop shop. But, after looking into LBWP a little more, I was actually pleased to know ALL they do is the structure/support part of the job. That is their expertise. They are pros at this part of the job and that is what I wanted this time, pros. Mario was so great to work with on the day of. He didn’t mind me watching and recording the entire process. He talked to me throughout the day and answered all my questions with confidence.
