is it possible to vault my ceilings?
It depends. If there is room above your ceilings, and if the circumstances are right, absolutely! This is one of the more popular requests we get with older homes. Some of these homes actually have the structural capability to allow for much higher ceilings than they were originally designed with, simply by adding in the correct structural integrity and re-framing the ceiling. This simple construction hack can take a large room that was already comfortable and transition it into a much larger-feeling room with a custom home look. Vaulted ceilings definitely adds the “wow-factor” to any room or space!
Can you fix saggy ceilings?
Absolutely! Saggy ceilings are the result of old age, and sometimes undersized lumber. The result is a ceiling that has become out of level and begins to dip down in the center. Saggy ceilings can be very dangerous if left unaddressed as the structure is no longer reliable. But fear not! This is a simple procedure of adding a beam in the ceiling and tying all the joists into the new beam. We’ll have that ceiling level and structurally sound in no time!

can you add-on
to my existing house?
Yes we can! In most cases we can add on to your home like it was a brand new build with customizable windows and doors configuration. We can match brick/siding, shingles, and style of your home, and tie in the roofline for a finish that looks like it was part of the original build. There can be constraints on how big of an add-on you can build according to the "build lines" that are marked on your survey, but provided the space is available, adding on to your home is right in our wheelhouse!
What about those annoying columns?
We can get rid of them. Columns were originally installed to save money so that a long distance could be broken into smaller distances allowing for regular lumber to be used instead of a beam. This situation is easily rectified and can be perfectly executed by installing that needed beam in the ceiling.
